BUNNAHABHAIN 18 YEAR OLD SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Islay, SCOTLAND

The Bunnahabhain Single Malt Scotch whisky is from an endearing island off the west coast of Scotland called Islay, renowned the world over for its unique malts. The journey began over a century ago, close to the Margadale River. Bunnahabhain means ‘mouth of the river’ from the Scots Gaelic tongue.

Pronounced Bú-na-ha-venn, this Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky is quite distinct from the many others on the island, given the wonderfully gentle taste profile for which it is known.

There are two reasons for this - firstly, it has been created using lightly peated malted barley in a time-honoured distillation process and, secondly, this isolated coastal sanctuary takes advantage of the pure spring water that flows freely from underground away from the peaty moorlands.

This 18 year old expressions’ voyage takes you on the Islay journey ending with dry notes that are interspersed with mixed spices fading magnificently into a light salt and sherry finale.

Bunnahabhain 18  Year Old was awarded the Jim Murray WHISKY BIBLE  2011 LIQUID GOLD  An award that celebrates the highest quality and standards in whisky making. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky is much in demand worldwide. "The very best that can be found"
